What We Do With Your Information

What we collect

When you join the ReceptionStar waitlist, we collect:

• Your email address (required - we need this to contact you)
• Your first and last name (required - we like to know who we're talking to)
• Your practice name (optional - helps us understand your needs)
• Who referred you, if anyone
• Your referral link clicks and signups

We also automatically collect some technical information:

• Your IP address (this appears in our server logs)
• What browser you're using
• When you visit our site
• Which pages you view

What we do with it

We use this information to:

• Send you emails about ReceptionStar (launch updates, your credits, etc.)
• Record who referred who and calculate referral credits
• Make sure our website works properly
• Understand what features people care about
• Prevent abuse of the referral system

That's it. We don't sell your information to anyone. We don't give it to advertisers.We're not going to spam you with marketing from other companies.

Your data, your choice

If you want to see what data we have about you, fix something that's wrong, or delete your account entirely,just email us at privacy@receptionstar.com. We'll handle ASAP, typically well within a few weeks.

If you don't want to receive emails from us anymore, every email has an unsubscribe link.

Cookies

We use cookies to remember who referred you and to keep you logged in if you claim your waitlist spot.If you disable cookies, the referral tracking won't work properly.

Security

As we say, we take very extensive steps to protect your information.We use encryption for sensitive data, and we don't store credit card information.

That said, nothing online is 100% secure. If there's ever a data breach that affects you,we'll let you know promptly.

When we might share your information

We'll only share your information if:

• You tell us to
• The law requires it (like a valid court order)
• We need to enforce our terms (like investigating referral abuse)
• We merge with or get acquired by another company (you'd be notified)

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes to how we handle your data, we'll email you.Small updates (like clarifying wording) will just update the date at the top of this page.
